Spotted an error? Tell us the suburb, property type and size and what looks off, and we’ll trace it back to the source file and fix or explain it.
Feedback & feature ideas. A cut of the data you wish existed, a chart that would help, wording that confused you: it genuinely shapes what we build next.
Data & reuse. Every figure is official MBIE bond data (CC BY 3.0 NZ). Ask if you’re unsure how to attribute or reuse a series, and each chart also has a CSV download.
Media & research. Happy to help with context on the numbers: the basis, the sample sizes and the lag behind them.

We usually reply within a few days. Your message is used only to respond. See our privacy page. One thing we can’t do: give advice on a specific tenancy or a verdict on whether a rent is fair. The data is there for you to read, and what a fair rent is stays between the parties and, if needed, the Tenancy Tribunal.
